Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bituminous Seal Coating on various roads within Centre Township, totaling 36,275 square yards. The work includes a double bituminous seal coat using a polymer modified emulsion, with an initial application of #8 stone with 1.0% loss by wash followed by a second application of #9 stone with 1.2% loss by wash as per Pub. 447, Section MS-0340-0005. All materials must meet PennDOT Pub. 408 or Pub. 447 specifications and standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by Centre Township. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to Centre Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of contract award. The Centre Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, to delete projects or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints, and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
