The City of Topeka, Utilities Department is requesting proposals and statements of qualification from qualified contractors to provide for the installation, maintenance and operation of the wastewater collection system flow metering and rain gauging at selected locations within the City of Topeka. As part of this work, the contractor shall field investigate all flow metering, level sensor and rain gauge monitoring locations proposed by the City to ascertain acceptability before installation. The contractor shall not rely on record drawings for the determination of structural features and pipe geometry or slopes. The City of Topeka intends to enter into a written agreement with the most qualified consultant for a term of three years or until canceled by either party with sixty (60) days written notice. The agreement may be renewed under the same terms and conditions for two additional one year terms by written agreement of the parties.
