Q And A Close 03/30/2023 5:00 PM This project includes replacing curb and gutter with combined curb & gutter (type varies) without damaging the existing adjacent and/or abutting sidewalks or drive approaches. A contingency quantity has been included for the replacement of 6 inch concrete transitions between back of new curb and the existing driveway approach, on an as needed basis. The citywide locations are identified on the attached aerial location maps. BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. NOTIFICATION OF MINORITY AND WOMAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (MBE/WBE): Bidders hall take note of requirements for notification of MBE's and WBE's as stated in paragraph 24 of the Instruction to Bidders.
