For Hillside Community Transformer Replacements Binghamton university is seeking a qualified contractor to disconnect and replace (7) dry-type transformers at the following locations: Belmont (112.5KVA), Catskill (112.5 KVA), Hillside Commons (75 KVA), Jones (112.5 KVA), Darien (112.5 KVA), Minnewaska (112.5KVA), Palisades (112.5KVA). Provide all necessary rigging for removal and replacement of transformers located in 2-story electrical rooms. The intent is to complete this work during the summer break of 2023. Submittal paperwork and contractor site evaluations may start as soon as the contract is signed. Replacement work shall not take place prior to May 17, 2023. Replacement work must be completed prior to August 18, 2023. All as-built/turn over documentation shall be completed and submitted to the university by contract end date of October 31, 2023 Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, even if the bidding documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format.
