The estimated construction cost: $2,212,000 The City of Kenmore Seeks a Contractor to Furnish All Labor, Materials and Equipment Necessary to Complete the Project Referenced Above. The Work Shall Include, but is Not Limited to, Furnishing All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Necessary to Construct the Replacement of an Existing Culvert and the Furnishing and Installation of a New Culvert at the Location Where Tributary 0056 Crosses Under Ne 190th Street. The Existing Culvert Consists Of a 70-foot Long, 60-inch Diameter Corrugated Metal Pipe (Cmp). The Proposed Culvert Will Be a 60-foot Long, 15-ft Wide by 12.2-foot-high (Inside Dimensions) Pre-cast 4-sided Concrete Box Culvert. The Proposed Culvert is Designed to Meet Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (Wdfw) Fish Passage Requirements. As Part of the Culvert Installation, a Water Main Will Be Re-routed, a Sewer Line Replaced, and a Rock Wall Will Be Replaced With a Soldier Pile Wall. Additionally, Approximately 4,475 Square Feet of Streambed Area Will Be Regraded to Reduce Scour and Improve Habitat. The Entire Project Lies Within the Stream and/or Wetland Critical Area Buffer. After Construction, These Impacted Areas Will Be Revegetated With Native Trees and Shrubs to Restore Cover. Flow From Tributary 0056 Will Be Temporarily Rerouted During Construction Using a Pumped and Filtered Diversion System With Fish Capture and Removal. All Activities Associated With the Project Shall Be Performed in Accordance With the Attached Contract Plans, These Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications.
