Renovation of a military facility in Fort Benning, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The Project: Install Fire Alarm and FM-200 Fire Suppression Systems at Building 84 (6821 Upton Avenue, Fort Benning, Georgia 31905), Building 8807 (8900 Sunshine Road, Fort Benning, Georgia 31905), Building 8808 (Lorraine Road, Fort Benning, Georgia 13025), Building 8811 (Marne Road, Fort Benning, Georgia 31905), Building 8857 (595 Eleventh Airborne Div. Road, Fort Benning, Georgia 31905), and Building 8858 (1 Camp Darby, HWY 137 Highway, Fort Benning, Georgia 31905). To maintain adequate fire protection in the facilities, and to maintain compliant with DoD Category Management, the system must be installed with Honeywell Brand Silent Knight Fire Alarm Control Panel, compatible detection, and audio/visual alarm devices. The new fire alarm and FM-200 suppression systems are required to meet the current UFC 3-600-01 (Change 6) Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities, UFC 4-010-01 DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings, UFGS Fire Suppression System, AR 420-1 Army regulation, and all the applicable (NFPA) codes and standards requirements. Contract Period 360 days . Liquidated Damage: In the event the contractor exceeds the completion date established per the task order, liquidated damages in the amount of $417.92 per day will be assessed.
