All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Bids must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Bids forms may be obtained by calling 570-537-6367. GRAVEL - 2RC, Stones not over 1 1/2 inches, 8000 ton, more or less, Tailgate Spread on various Township Roads and Stockpiled as directed. GRAVEL - 2RC, Stones not over 1 1/2 inch, 500 ton, more or less, FOB. COARSE AGGREGATE (1A Stone) 200 ton, more or less, Delivered as directed and FOB. PENNDOT #2A - 2000 ton, more or less, Stones not over 1 1/2 inch, Tailgate spread on various Township Roads and Stockpiled. Specify if stone or gravel. PENNDOT #2A - 500 ton, more or less, Stones not over 1 1/2 inch, FOB. COARSE AGGREGATE (AASHTO #8/1B Stone) - 200 ton more or less, washed/cleaned, Stockpiled as directed. COARSE AGGREGATE (AASHTO #8/1B Stone) - 300 ton more or less, unwashed, Stockpiled as directed. COARSE AGGREGATE (AASHTO #57/2B Stone) - 600 ton, more or less, washed, Stockpiled as directed. TYPE 1 Anti-skid (Cinders) - 2000 ton, more or less, State approved and Non-approved, Delivered and Stockpiled as directed. TYPE 4 Anti-skid (Cinders) - 2000 ton, more or less, State approved and Non-approved. Delivered and Stockpiled as directed. DEICING SAND #1 - 1000 ton, more or less, Delivered and Stockpiled as directed. DEICING SAND #2 - 1000 ton, more or less, Delivered and Stockpiled as directed. FUEL: DEISEL - Bid price is based on rack price on March 31, 2023: Break down bid into Rack Price, Over Rack Price and Bid Price. These are line item bids. Any tailgate spread items, a minimum of 600 ton per day delivered, with 48 hour's notice by the Township is required. A Certified Check or Performance Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid will be required from all successful bidders. Jackson Township Supervisors reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids; to re-advertise if necessary, and to accept the bids believed to be in the best interest of Jackson Township.
