Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oregon City, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Using Clackamas County Community Development Block Grants, this project will replace existing non-ADA compliant curb ramps with new ADA-compliant curb ramps at the intersections of 12th and Main and 13th and Main in downtown Oregon City. Work will generally include removal of existing concrete and adjacent asphalt to make room for larger curb extensions and dual ramps that meet current ADA requirements. The use and design of curb extension will require additional analysis to confirm turning movements for larger vehicles and bus traffic that utilize these intersections. Fiscal Year: Jul 1 - Jun 30 As of April 20, 2023, a design team has been identified. Construction has already begun and expected to be complete Summer of 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
