As of May 1, 2023, project was awarded to THE ROOFING COMPANY-COMMERCIAL DIVISION, awarded amount is $94,896.01. This is for a one time job that includes all cost for replacing any needed decking, all roofing, and gutters with down spouts and leaf guards at Oconee State Park t is the intent of Oconee State Park to identify vendors capable of providing roofing and guttering services along with external small natural stone chimney repair. Oconee State Park is a South Carolina State Park located in Mountain Rest South Carolina. Geographically located 8 miles north of Walhalla, SC on Highway 107. The park has 6 facilities needing roof replacement, gutters, and small chimney work. Facilities include 1 park residence and 5 park cabins all built during 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Roofs have been updated through the years and are currently roofed with 3tab asphalt shingling. All bids for the project must include materials, installation, and warranty coverage equal or greater than the specifications detailed below. SC PRT is seeking offerers to have inspection and repair services on six (6) buildings at Oconee State Park. Park Chimneys are constructed with natural stone and mortar materialsUnits to be included are as follows: OC1 Roof & Gutters Cabin #5 Roof System Cabin #7 Roof System & Gutter System Cabin #9 Roof System and Gutter System Cabin #11 Roof System & Gutter System Cabin #20 Roof System & Gutter System Facility Photos are located in (Appendix A) Roof System Specifications 1. Removal of Shingles, disposal and maintaining work site cleanliness and safety standards a. Removal and disposal of all waste materials i. Remove materials in a careful and contained standard so not to promote litter ii. Use methods for containing waste materials 1. Do not litter or distribute waste materials into natural environment 2. Use tarps or heavy-duty canvas to maintain a clean worksite 3. Use heavy magnets to make sure all nails and other metal hazards are removed from creating harm to residential occupants or guests iii. An open top dumpster will be available for disposal of waste materials onsite or at nearby at park shop area. 1. OC-1 (Manager's Residence) (nearby at Shop) 2. Cabin 7, Cabin 9, Cabin 11(cabin 9 driveway) 3. Cabin 20 (driveway) 4. Cabin 5 (roadside nearby) 2. Inspect all decking: if any rotted or damaged is found, it must be replaced during installation. a. A request for the estimated number of boards and /or sheets to be replaced must be included in the total bid. i. Please include number of 1X6's and length estimated for replacement ii. Please include number of 4X8 sheets estimated for replacement iii. Please include any other size board or lumber required or requested for replacement iv. State Park will purchase the required amount of 1X6's and 4X8 sheets of boards to have on hand for replacement 3. Replacement boards must be Plywood/OSB a. 1x6 boards 4. Installation of Crickets and Stucco Banding to Chimneys and Roof a. Facilities required for Bid: i. Cabin 5 (2 Chimneys), Cabin 7 (1 Chimney), Cabin 9 (1 Chimney), Cabin 11 (1Chimney), Cabin 20 (1 Chimney)
