Renovation of an educational facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the work consists of: removal and replacement of failed joint sealants, repair of damaged brick masonry and mortar, repair and replacement of damaged limestone wall panels, repair of damaged cast-in-place concrete, painting of exposed structural steel components, panting of exterior cementitious stucco, and installation of metal coping cap at masonry parapets. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. DFD reserves the right to reject bids submitted electronically if a bidder uses a remote online notarization technology provider that has not been approved by DFI.
