Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Carmel, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of making improvements to the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant owned and operated by the Town of Mount Carmel in Hawkins County, Tennessee. The work includes modifications on the existing concrete headworks channel, construction of a cast-in-place concrete elevated structure, installation of a new mechanical fine screen and screenings conveyor, addition of mechanical mixers in the anoxic tanks, addition of a filtration system and enclosure on the plant recycle water line, decommissioning the primary clarifier pump station, equipment removal and conversion of the primary clarifiers to anoxic tanks, associated work in the electrical room, and miscellaneous work in the yard piping, site grading, minor concrete repair, tank dredging and cleaning, and other support facilities. Bid Security: A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of the Town of Mount Carmel shall accompany each bid.
