Renovation of a water / sewer project in Glenwood, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The extent of the work involved is the furnishing of labor, equipment, and new materials for the construction of the Improvements. The work is generally described as follows: 1. Anaerobic Digester Provide and install a new digester cover. a. Demolish and dispose of the existing fixed cover on the primary digester. b. Clean the interior surface of the digester. c. Demolish the top 8 feet of the interior baffle walls and the corbels. d. Demolish and replace the top 12 inches of the digester wall as required to provide a level, flat surface. e. Remove deteriorated concrete on the interior digester wall and patch as necessary. f. Install new steel digester cover. g. Install insulation and EPDM roofing on fixed digester cover. 2. Digester Control Building Remove and replace insulation and EPDM roofing on the digester control building in area adjacent to the primary digester as shown on the drawings. 3. Miscellaneous Repairs Miscellaneous repairs as shown on the drawings.
