It is the bidders responsibility to have all bid proposals delivered on time. No late proposals will be accepted. Any addenda to these bids will be mailed to the address provided by the prospective bidders at this time. No changes to the bid shall be issued any later than five (5) days before the bids are to be opened. A bid bond in the form of a certified check from a secure and responsible bank made payable to Clarks Summit Borough, or a Bid Bond acceptable to the Borough Solicitor, in the amount of 10% of the bid, is required at the time of bid submittal. Within twenty-one (21) days of the awarding of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price. Additional details concerning this requirement are available in the bid document. The Contractor is required to ensure that employees and subcontractors are not discriminated against because of race, age, religion, gender, national origin, or disability.
