As of April 21 the project was awarded to Flow Right Plumbing, Heating Cooling & Electric Inc, awarded amount not available. Jefferson County requires the services of a contractor to replace the boiler and pumps which have reached the end of their useful life at the Human Services Building. All questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to oriseng@jeffco.us or via RMEPS. Questions due by: Date: 3/27/2023 Time: 11:00 a.m. (Questions received after this time will not be accepted.) Jefferson County requires the services of a contractor to replace the boiler and pumps which have reached the end of their useful life at the Human Services Building. Two (2) existing boilers, pumps and associated hydronic accessories, including piping, flue, and venting will be demolished and replaced. An air compressor will also be demolished. Three (3) high efficiency hydronic boilers each with individual circulator pumps along with new system pumps, air separator, buffer tank and expansion tank will be installed. Project also consists of roof patching, reworking combustion air louvers, new piping, electrical, controls and various accessories for a new complete, functional hydronic heating system. All project work shall be completed within May 1st, 2023 to October 1st, 2023. If work is not completed within these dates contractor to provide temporary heat at no cost to owner. The project is located at Human Services Building, 900 Jefferson County Pkwy, Golden Co. 80401. a. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the Work, including proper permitting, as well as any other requirements needed for the above described Work. b. Remove and properly dispose of the existing boilers, pumps, expansion tanks and compressor. c. Install new boilers and pumps in the existing locations. Provide all required electrical work, including electrical power service disconnects and reconnections. All electrical work provided by the Contractor must be done by a licensed electrician. Contractor shall proceed with additional work not identified in this Contract, only after a fully executed proceed order or change order signed by the County Representative, has been received by the Contractor. d. Provide all ductwork and flue modifications as needed. All roof penetrations existing and new will have to be performed and repaired by B&M Roofing. The roofing in the flue area is being upgraded to Carlisle Rapid Lock Membrane Roofing system, which is being installed by B&M Roofing, and will be under their warranty. Location of venting needs to be clear of existing air handler intake air. e. Perform all necessary start up functions and inspections to place boiler and pumps in full operational mode.
