Renovation of a mixed-use development in Turner Valley, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Turner Valley School Boiler Replacement project includes the demolition and replacement of the main heating plant at the Turner Valley School. The scope includes but is not necessarily limited to: the demolition of the existing atmospheric boilers, housekeeping pads, flues, expansion tanks and heating water headers within the mechanical room. Existing heating pumps serving the multiple heating loops are to be removed and consolidated into a single set of heating pumps. New housekeeping pads are to be poured to support the new heating equipment. The existing compressor drying is to be replaced. The unit heater is to be removed and replaced with electric. Additional floor drains are to be added. Existing water heater is to be replaced. Existing glycol system is to remain and be reconnected to the new heating system. Controls are to be upgraded. Electrical modifications are to be completed to support the heating upgrades. The mechanical room floor is to be patched and repaired as required and refinished with epoxy paint.
