Project Description This project will consist of the Consultant working with the Dalton Utilities staff in designing, managing, coordinating, and conducting multiple wastewater pilots for the removal of Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances ("PFAS"). Consultant will analyze data and pilot results to prepare reports to provide information on PFAS treatment technologies in wastewater including, but not limited to, treatment efficiencies, operational costs, capital costs, and full life cycle costs for a range of PFAS treatment options. The treatment technologies evaluated as part of this pilot study will consist of both removal and destruction of PFAS in wastewater. In addition, the project will concurrently examine nutrient removal technologies and how they might influence the PFAS removal efficiency. The project will involve coordinating with multiple vendors, scientists, academia, and other Consultants experienced in PFAS treatment to achieve a successful project.
