Cost of submittal of this bid is considered an operational cost of the bidder and shall not be passed on to or be borne by the City. A proposal guarantee must be submitted with the proposal, if the total amount proposed exceeds $50,000. The bond shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount. The guarantee may be in the form of a Surety Bond with a carrier duly licensed and authorized to do business in the State of Florida, a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check (checks made payable to The City of Stuart). Purpose of the proposal guarantee is to assure the apparent low, responsive and responsible bidder will enter into a contract to provide the described services.
