Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nevada City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of May 30, 2023, project was awarded to Knife River Construction, awarded amount is $1,401,348.56.** The work to be done, in general, consists of paving, performing asphalt repairs, crack sealing, placing shoulder backing, shoulder widening, dirt work, installation of AC dike, removal of existing striping, sweeping roads, microsurfacing, striping, removing old and installing new raised/recessed pavement markers to County maintained roads. The work will be completed in one phase. Alternative Additive work includes: The work to be done, in general, consists of traffic control, sweeping roads, mircosurfacing, striping. The addition of the add alt item to the contract will be at the discretion of the County of Nevada. Contractor will be required to possess a CLASS A contractor's license issued by the state of California contractors license board at the time the bid is submitted. The contractor must be properly licensed as a contractor from contract award through contract acceptance (Public Contract Code (10164).
