Project Scope: Reconfigure HVAC duct work to have front offices on one system and rear living quarters on another system. Install two wireless thermostats, duct work will be hard pipe insulated to R8, both supplies and returns to be rerouted and contractor must attend the job walk on May 11, 2023 at 9am. Coordinate and schedule with the District, any planned interruptions of climate control to the facility necessary for the installation. All work shall meet current standards set forth by the Nevada County Building Department. Contractor is responsible for all permits, fees and inspections for Fire Station 84, located at 640 Coyote Street, Nevada City, CA 95959. This is a public works project. Pursuant to Sections 1770 and 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, NCCFD has ascertained that prevailing wage rates are applicable to the work to be done. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are available at the California Department of Industrial Relations web site. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages.
