Site work for a water / sewer project in Phoenix, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes upgrading all service lines and portions of the main repairs, including the installation of isolation valves within the Thunderbird Hills and Thunderbird Valley subdivisions. Staff will explore grant funding opportunities as well as requirements for an improvement district. The work will be completed utilizing in-house labor. As of March 24, 2023, this project is included in the City of Safford's FY 2022-2026 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2024-2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
