The selected Inspector shall perform welding inspections according to AWWA D100, Project Plans and specifications. The Inspector is to review applicable welding procedures, welder certification and submitted material test records. Provide 100% visual inspection of all welds, assuring adequacy and quality of welds. Inspector to perform radiographic testing of shell plate welds per AWWA D100 and vacuum box testing of the flat bottom seams. The Inspector shall prepare a thorough written report accompanied with photographic documentation of inspections. Reports and photographs shall be submitted in both paper copy and digital formats. Inspection reports are due no later than 3 days following the inspection and shall be submitted to City Construction Inspector.
