The project involves the replacement of approximately 350-linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, replacement of laterals and associated restoration. The project is located on Brookline Boulevard between Beverly Road and Darby Road in Havertown PA. Clarification Deadline: 3/24/2023 5:00 PM Commencement - No later than May1st , 2023 Final completion- No later than June 15th , 2023 Phase 1 - South side of Brookline Blvd 1. During this Phase, traffic control should be established in accordance with the Phase 1 traffic control pattern indicated on Drawing CM7001. 2. All work shall be confined to the south side of the street from the doubleyellow line to the south curb line. 3. The following work shall be completed: a. Saw cutting of the road for both the sewer main replacement, the lateral replacement of those properties on the south side of the street, and portions of the lateral replacement for properties on the north side of the road from the main to within 1-foot of the double yellow line. b. Replacement of the existing sewer main. c. Replacement of the existing laterals on the south side from the new sewer main to the south face of curb or alternate location designated by the Township. d. Replacement of the existing laterals on the north side from the new sewer main to a point within 2-foot south of the double yellow line. e. Temporary paving restoration of all trenches. f. Connections of the new main to the existing manholes. Phase 2 - North side of Brookline Blvd 1. During this Phase, traffic control should be established in accordance with the Phase 2 traffic control pattern indicated on Drawing CM7001. 2. All work shall be confined to the north side of the street from the doubleyellow line to the north curb line. 3. The following work shall be completed: g. Saw cutting of the road for the lateral replacement of those properties on the north side of the road from the double yellow line to the north face of curb. h. Replacement of the existing laterals on the north side from the existing stub installed under Phase 1 to the north face of curb. i. Temporary paving restoration of all trenches. Phase 3 - Restoration 1. This work shall include final paving restoration in accordance with the detail. The work shall include the required cutback of the paving on all sides, excavation, and the installation of the required paving section. 2. The work shall be completed in two separate phases similar to the above work. Traffic control should be established in accordance with Phase 1 and Phase 2 traffic control patterns outlined for the above work.
