Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Fort Morgan is planning to develop a 120,000 square-foot park and sports field complex adjacent to and east of the City's brand new 40,000 square-foot Fieldhouse Recreation Center. The park will include a large turf area, a smaller turf area, walking trail, and amenities. The Fieldhouse includes a 3,000-sq. ft. inclusive playground and a 1,400 sq. ft. splash pad. The building was designed with the possibility of an attached aquatics facility to be added on in the future. The Fieldhouse, the pool site and the future park are all located in a large 300-acre development called CentrePointe. The City began purchasing this land in 2016 with the intent of meeting the community's need for additional affordable housing as well as commercial and industrial development. CentrePointe Park will be located on the southwest corner of Beaver Avenue and Beef Plant Road, just east of the Fieldhouse and adjacent to a potential site for a future aquatics facility. Completion of this park will create a recreation complex that will centralize most recreation activities for Fort Morgan and the surrounding communities, in an effort to support community vitality, equitable access and youth connections for Morgan County question deadline 04/05/2023 at 9:00 AM MT
