Wind Cone Relocation and Replacement - The work generally consists of: Removal, replacement of five (5) existing wind cones with new current driven supplemental L-806(L) wind cones and the installation of one (1) new Primary L-807(L) Wind cone within the airfield of Palm Beach International Airport. All conditions and requirements for bid submission, consideration, and award are contained in the Contract Documents, which include the plans and specifications. The Contractor should access the site on a daily basis to be aware of any new data (addenda) that is added to the site. The Department of Airports is not responsible for failure to obtain all documents required in order to be considered responsive. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by Palm Beach County and accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order or a bid bond submitted on the form provided, in favor of Palm Beach County in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope as described in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal is 9 %.
