The City of Watertown invites sealed bids from Contractors for the purchase and installation of approximately 360 public shade trees, in accordance with M.G.L. 30, 39M. Contractors are requested to bid based on a lump sum of 360 various trees. The price shall include removal of ground cover, installation of the new planting, providing irrigation bags for each tree and filling those bags on a bimonthly basis during the growing season. The City will also require pricing for sidewalk saw cutting, brick pavers removed and replaced, dead tree and stump removal, and stump removal and disposal, and others as indicated on bid sheet number 2. Bids shall be made in compliance with Prevailing Wage Rates determined by the Division of Occupational Safety included in the bid documents. Wage Rate Schedule has been included within this IFB package. No Pre-Bid Meeting
