In accordance with Section 153.54, of the Ohio Revised Code, each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of EITHER (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Ohio as surety, OR (2) a certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Each bid guaranty shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, Butler County, Ohio. A bond provided as the bid guaranty may be submitted either in paper form bearing the original signatures of the principal and surety, or by electronic record.
