The selection of a Firm to undertake this project will be based on professional qualifications, experience and expertise of the personnel, and ability to meet deadlines. The proposal shall include the necessary information on personnel assigned to the work and a chart of the project schedule including the promised start and finish deadline dates. Proposers shall make necessary visits to the site. It is the proposer's responsibility to become familiar with all facilities required to complete the necessary hydro excavation and inspection. The proposer's failure to familiarize themselves with all aspects of the facility along with City, State, and Federal laws or other unseen or latent conditions shall not be cause for the proposer to seek additional funds for this project. The Engineer will evaluate the quotations and the respondents presenting them. The City Council will make its decision based on information gathered during the procurement process and based upon the recommendation of the Engineer. The City Council regards the submission of the quotation as the most important factor in the selection of a respondent to provide the services described herein. The City reserves the right to reject any and all of the proposals, to waive any informalities, and to award a contract to the proposer whom the City Council deems serves the best interest of the City of Flat Rock. The City Council shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this Request for Quotations ("RFQ"). Further, the City of Flat Rock shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by participating in an oral presentation or costs associated with negotiations.
