The Project is generally described as follows: demolition of concrete masonry unit baffle walls in basins 1 and 2; replace baffle walls with 304 Stainless Steel baffle walls; demolition of existing sludge collection system for 4 basins; install new hose-less sludge collection system in each basin; demolition of existing lime silos and piping; construct new fluoride storage tank area with double wall tank; remove selected existing chemical storage tank; provide new chemical storage tanks as described in the specifications and contract drawings The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid.
