**As of May 17, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $372,358.75** All materials must meet current PA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SPECIFICATIONS. All proposals must be upon forms furnished by the Municipality. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to East Coventry Township in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the total bid and a performance bond equal to 100% of the amount of the total bid. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope marked BID PROPOSAL FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT Item # 1) Provide and place 43,050 SY of bituminous surface treatment (oil-chip) double coat consist of #8 and 1/4 aggregate washed stone on various township roads with 8 10-ton steel roller. #2)Provide and place 1670 tons of 9.5 mm scratch coat on various roads with tack coat. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
