The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a Contractor to remove old and replace new one (1) each overhead door at the Dayton Maintenance Facility, located at 4401 Route 32, Dayton, MD 21036 in Howard County. The Procurement Officer's Designee may be contacted at telephone number 410-531-5533 between 8:00 A.M. and Revised 9-11-14 4:00 P.M. or by FAX 410-531-3114 or by Email at srush2@mdot.maryland.gov The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in accordance with this specification and scope of work in the manner called for, and to the satisfaction of the State Highway Administration, Contract Manager, Mr. Jim Jones, Resident Maintenance Engineer. Contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience, in performing Overhead Door Replacements. All work to be done in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA and MOSH regulations and standards. Contractor will be responsible for the removal and dispose of existing old overhead door and other debris from SHA property. Furnish and install (1) new overhead door with the same specifications as either the existing Wayne Dalton Overhead Door or a OHD Series 625 or better. Company to submit specification of overhead door to be replaced prior to bid award. Work to be completed and invoiced by June 28, 2023.
