The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a qualified MHIC Contractor to provide carpentry services on an as needed basis at the Dayton Maintenance Facility and all other SHA properties located in Howard County, Maryland. This specification describes the requirements to provide a MHIC licensed Contractor for carpentry services. Carpentry services under this contract will be for miscellaneous projects on an as- needed job specific basis at the locations specified in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a period of 24 months or total payments of $50,000, whichever comes first. This proposal will establish labor hourly rates. Quantities listed are estimated and are only given for the purpose of bid evaluation. They do not indicate the actual amount which will be spent, since such expenditure will depend upon requirements which develop during the contract period. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which the award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract. Refer to Attachment No. II for further information regarding this program Small Business Reserve Designation : Yes No Pre-Bid meeting will be held on this IFB This solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with COMAR 21.05.07 - Small Procurement Regulations ($50,000 or Less). The duration / term of the contract is twenty-four (24) months or until Contract funds have been depleted.
