Water Main Replacement Project The work consists of replacement of approximately 8,600 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch cast iron and asbestos cement water mains along Maple Street, Harrington Street, Faith Drive, Baker Hill Road, Lakeview Avenue, and Gleason Avenue. Bid Alternate No. 1 consists of replacement of approximately 680 linear feet of 6-inch asbestos cement water main along Paula Circle. Bid Alternate No. 2 consists of replacement of approximately 860 linear feet of 6-inch asbestos cement water main along Harrington Lane. Bid Alternate No. 3 consists of replacement of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 6-inch cast iron water main along Blaine Avenue. Work will also include installation of new hydrants, new services to property lines, and roadway restoration. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form The Work will be substantially completed within 460 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 520 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
