Start date: 04/21/2023 End date: 04/20/2024 Intent - This solicitation intends to acquire the hardware, software, and services needed to upgrade the existing ENCO playout and automation system used by SCETV Radio. The intent of this Invitation For Bid (IFB) is to establish a source to procure hardware, software, and services to support system upgrades in Radio. Installation shall be performed as a parallel build, allowing for live cutover from current to new systems with minimal impact to broadcast services. In addition to updates to hardware and software, the newly installed system must include playout channel redundancy to two primary services, integrate via the existing IP network to allow improved and automated media workflow and traffic systems integration, and allow for control of automation from various locations both local and remote. In the future, the agency plans to move to an integrated audio and video IP environment. Thus, solutions must be compatible with "SMPTE ST 2110 Standard on Professional Media over Managed IP Networks" for transport of PCM digital audio (SMPTE ST 2110-30). See the list of items to be purchased below. Include SMPTE 2110-30 capability, future expansion of two redundant playout channels in the SMPTE 2110-30 space.
