Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Bartlett, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

The work consists of the construction of Devon Excess Flow Lift Station and associated appurtenances and site work. A. The work consists of the construction of the Devon Excess Flow Lift Station and associated appurtenances including underground piping work to the limits shown on the Plans. The new Lift Station shall replace an existing Excess Flow Treatment Facility and shall service an existing residential subdivision and shall receive and convey excess flows from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC) Lift Station located at the intersection of Devon and Berteau Avenues in the Village of Bartlett. The new Lift Station will include two influent sewers and two discharge force mains. B. There is a separate contract for the completion of Excess Flow Interceptor and Force Main Improvements associated with the new Devon Excess Flow Lift Station. The Lift Station contractor under this contract shall be responsible for construction of a portion of the influent sewers and discharge force mains to the limits shown on the Plans, while the Interceptor and Force Main contractor shall be responsible for completing the remainder of the associated underground piping work, including a majority of the new excess flow force main construction, under separate contract. Construction of the Devon Excess Flow Lift Station and of the Interceptor and Force Main improvements shall be completed concurrently, and coordination between the contractors and trades shall be required during critical phases of the work. C. Demolition of the existing Devon Excess Flow Treatment Facility, including demolition of the Devon DuPage Lift Station, shall also be completed under this contract. Demolition of the existing facilities shall not commence until after the Devon Excess Flow Lift Station and the Interceptor and Force Main Improvements are constructed and upon successful startup and testing of the new Lift Station and all equipment. Question Deadline 04/12/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Information / Clarification shall be submitted in writing by Email. Completion- 730 consecutive calendar days thereafter
