For the purpose of selecting a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and apparatus for the construction of: BID No. LAP 592-23 NE 592nd St. from US 19 to NE 272nd Ave. (LAP), in Dixie County, Florida. The project scope for NE 592nd St. from US 19 to NE 272nd Ave., consists of paved shoulder improvements for a distance of approximately 3.3 miles. Construction also includes maintenance of traffic, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, drainage, sodding, pavement markings and other associated work. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond payable to the County for an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The County will, within ten (10) days after the opening of the Bids, return deposits of all Bidders except those posted by the three lowest Bidders, whose deposits will be returned upon final award and execution of the contract between the successful Bidder and the County, and after a satisfactory contract Bond has been executed. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts equal to one hundred and ten percent (110%) of the Contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. IT IS THE BIDDERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE DELIVERY OF THE BID TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS OFFICE ON OR BEFORE THE DATE SPECIFIED. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Board of County Commissioners of Dixie County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
