Renovation of a mixed-use development in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
This project will complete improvements to the Mon Valley YMCA's indoor pool area. A new building addition to relocate the sauna will be completed, and a new therapy pool installed. Also, the locker rooms will be renovated to provide a safe space for all genders by creating individual change/shower areas and upgrading the necessary M/E/P systems in this area, the boiler system will be upgraded, and new LED lights will be installed above the pool. This project is included in the state's Capital Improvement Program FY 2023. As of March 24, 2023, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
