Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Completed plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
It is the intent for the drawings and specifications to provide for parking lot replacement of approximately 1,111 square yards of pavement in the northeastern parking lots, along with approximately 30 square yards of sidewalk at the Henry County Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Code of Iowa. Bid security shall be 10% of the bid amount. The work under the proposed Contract shall commence upon issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. The proposed parking lot replacement improvements listed shall be fully completed on or before October 27, 2023. The Bidder agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day after the specified completion date that the project is not fully completed.
