Facilities Management Firms (Vendor) to manage and operate BHMC-HSC Environmental Services. Environmental Services will be defined as but not limited to the following: 1) Housekeeping and Environmental Services to include managing, training, staffing and providing comprehensive housekeeping and environmental services for Hospital, Professional Building and Home Health/Business Office Annex Building. Vendor shall have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing environmental services in a hospital. Vendor must have knowledge of Arkansas State Health Department and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations related to environmental services as well as, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards. Vendor must have set cleaning standards suitable for any and all regulatory agencies. Vendor will assist, support, and offer direction to BHMC-HSC in policies and procedures that provide compliance with all applicable accreditation, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Vendor will be required to comply with any and all infection control regulatory agencies and guidelines. Vendor shall agree to maintain quality, patient satisfaction and infection control metrics as agreed upon by both parties and meet monthly to evaluate and review program outcomes. Vendor is required to carry Workers Compensation insurance per statutory limits and Employers Liability insurance in an amount not less than $1,000,000. Vendor shall provide proof of Commercial General Liability insurance in minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 general aggregate, as well as proof of Professional Liability insurance in minimum limits of $3,000,000 per occurrence. All Vendors are encouraged to walk through the site to review conditions under which vendor will be obligated to operate and gather all information needed for bid preparation. This will be the only pre-bid conference / walk through scheduled for this project. All vendors may be required to wear a face covering during pre-bid walk through. Bids received after the time stated above will not be accepted. Bid opening date TBA to all eligible bidders.
