DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes construction of a new sewer line, sewer manholes, pipe trench excavation and backfill, traffic control, trenchless crossing of State Highway201, and pavement cutting and restoration as shown in the construction drawings and these specifications. SITE OF WORK: The site of the WORK is located on 8000 W between 2100 S and State Highway201 in Salt Lake County, Utah. COMPLETION OF WORK: The WORK must be Substantially Complete within twelve (12) months of Notice to Proceed and Final Completion to occur within 60 days thereafter. Substantial completion of the Open-Cut portion of the WORK is to be no later than July 31, 2025. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Total Bid Price payable to Magna Water District as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. A bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is enclosed with it. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the OWNER.
