PROPOSAL SECURITY shall accompany each proposal submitted in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the proposal, that is, Base Bid. Refer to Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Except as permitted by Pennsylvania Act NO. 4 of 1974, proposals may not be withdrawn by the bidder for a period of not to exceed 60 calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish security bonds in the forms of a "Performance Bond and Payment Bond" required by the Contract Documents. Each bond shall be in a sum equal to 100% of the Contract Price and shall be executed by a surety company satisfactory to the Owner and qualified to do business in Pennsylvania. This invitation to bid supersedes any provisions to the instructions to Bidders (A.I.A Document A701) which conflicts with the provisions hereof. It is imperative that the bid be submitted as specified within this document before the scheduled date of opening. Bids delivered in person must be brought to the Cheltenham School District Administration Building, Office of Support Services, 2000 Ashbourne Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027, prior to the bid opening and register with the Secretary to the Director of Support Services. Bids received after the indicated time opening time will be rejected and returned. The School District will not be responsible for any bids not delivered directly to the Office of Support Services regardless of the method of delivery. The undersigned reserves the right to waiver non-material defects or reject any or all proposals or parts thereof Specifications are available at the office of the Business Manager, CHELTENHAM SCHOOL DISTRICT, Administration Building, 2000 Ashbourne Road, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania 19027 Provide a complete and operating electrical installation in accordance with these specifications and accompanying contract drawings. This includes all required labor, materials, apparatus and supervision. B. Without limiting or restricting the volume of work and solely for the convenience of the Contractor, the work to be performed in general, comprises the following: 1.
