Description The Agency is seeking bids from qualified persons or organizations to provide well construction services for locating, drilling, and constructing four new 4-inch diameter dedicated monitoring wells, three to be screened in the Deep Aquifers below the 180-Foot and 400-Foot Aquifers and one screened in the 180-Foot Aquifer. A location map for the proposed wells is included in the RFB. One monitoring well is proposed to be located at the City of Salinas Industrial Waste Facility off of South Davis Road. Three monitoring wells are proposed to be located in Monterey County rights-of-way near the City of Gonzales, on the North side of Blackie Road, and between the City of Salinas and Chualar. Please note that negotiations are underway to acquire the right to drill and maintain the proposed wells, and the Agency reserves the right to propose alternate locations if necessary. Proposals will be accepted only from Bidders with a current State of California C-57 Well Drilling Contractor's License at the time of the submittal. The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, all applicable permits, and incidentals to perform all Work in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents and Monterey County Health Department Well Construction Permit (Monterey County Code Chapter 15.08).
