Renovation of an educational facility in Westminster, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract for the Relocation of One (1) Portable Classroom Building at Carroll County Career & Technology Center, 1229 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157 to Friendship Valley Elementary School, 1100 Gist Rd., Westminster, MD 21157. The successful bidder (s) shall be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, supervision, insurance and services required for the Relocation of One (1) Portable Classroom Building at Carroll County Career & Technology Center, 1229 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157 to Friendship Valley Elementary School, 1100 Gist Rd., Westminster, MD 21157, all in accordance with the provisions of this Invitation to Bid including the enclosed specifications. On-site work may commence June 19, 2023, and shall be completed no later than August 11, 2023. The removal of the existing unit and foundations at Carroll County Career and Technology Center must be completed by July 1, 2023. Scheduling will be coordinated with the contract administrator after award. If the work is not completed by the completion date, then the contractor shall work extended hours, evenings and/or on weekends at their own expense.
