PURPOSE The Town of Barrington is inviting qualified firms/consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide consultant services to complete an Athletic Fields Condition and Needs Analysis and related services. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) is to evaluate questions 2 and 3 below, as directed by the Barrington Town Council "to explore on separate but parallel tracks" the following: 1. whether to build a recreation center in Barrington; 2. whether to install a synthetic turf field in Barrington; and, 3. ways to improve the overall maintenance of Barrington's fields, including whether to develop a dedicated field maintenance team. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
