As of April 20 the project was awarded to Trapp Construction LLC for $1,295,965.99. The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide construction services related to constructing a new brine pond with a double lined leak detection system, a wash rack and other grading and drainage improvements for UDOT maintenance station This contract will result in one contract award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Length of the Contract Must be completed with phase 1 by June 30th 2023. Must be completed with phase 2 by October 1st 2023 Questions during the bid period must be submitted through Electronically.. UDOT reserves the right to determine if a bidder is responsible based on past MS4 projects. If a firm has previously been awarded MS4 projects, that firm's projects must have been completed without excessive delays and warranty issues (this includes completion before the substantial completion date.)Any current MS4 projects not completed must not be in a liquidated damage state." The Awarded contractor will need to submit a performance and payment bond upon reward. This project is to construct a new brine pond with a double lined leak detection system, a washrack and other grading and drainage improvements for UDOT maintenance station 2435 (Park City) at the UDOT owned site in Park City, Utah per this description and the attached drawings and specifications. The attachment includes drawings indicating the required work. Also attached is a short specification outlining the requirements. The drawings and specifications are to be considered together as the bid documents and are to be taken as a whole. The contractor will be responsible to verify all existing conditions prior to the bid.
