Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lumby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Vernon School District (#22) is tendering roof rehabilitation projects at Charles Bloom Secondary consisting of approximately 10,000 sq.ft., Cherryville Elementary School consisting of approximately 4,000 sq.ft., Kidston Elementary School consisting of approximately 17,695 sq.ft., Okanagan Landing Elementary School consisting of approximately 2,400 sq.ft. and portables at Alexis Park and Harwood Elementary Schools. The scope of work at Charles Bloom Secondary School, Kidston Elementary School and Okanagan Landing Elementary School and will require removing the existing SBS roof membrane exposing the coverboard to install a new protection board and 2 ply SBS base and cap sheet. The scope of work at Cherryville Elementary School will require removing the existing 2 ply SBS exposing the coverboard to install a 3 ply built up roof assembly. The scope of work at Alexis Park and Harwood Elementary Schools consists of cleaning, preparing and restoring the roofs of portables with a 2 coat fully reinforced liquid membrane. Specifications and tender documents will provided at the mandatory site visits.
