Site work and paving for a civil project in Greenwood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Project A - W. Miller Street (Reese to Main St.) , Stafford Ave (Miller to Termini). The project will reconstruct West Miller Street, North Reese to Main Street (STH 73), approximately 1,560 LF and Stafford Street, Termini to West Miller Street, approximately 320 LF. Existing water main will be replaced with new 8-inch PVC water main. New hydrants will be installed and existing water services will be replaced with 1-inch to the right-of-way. Existing sanitary sewer will be replaced with new 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer and sanitary services will be replaced with new 6-inch PVC to the right-of way. Roadway including base, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, driveway aprons, several new sidewalk sections and storm sewer. Project B - Lift Station Road (Miller to Termini). Includes replacing the existing sanitary sewer lateral with new 6-inch PVC and replacing the existing water service with 1-inch HDPE from the right-of-way to the house. This work will also include the restoration of pavements, landscaping other disturbances required to make the service connections to the house. Project C - Utility Service Extensions. Includes replacement of water and sewer laterals to 5 private home owners along the project. The anticipated substantial completion date is September 29, 2023 and final completion date is October 27, 2023. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee This project anticipates use of Wisconsin DNR Safe Drinking Water Loan Program and Clean Water Fund Program funding. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Womens Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit bid proposals. A municipality, in awarding prime contracts, and the primary engineer and primary contractor, in awarding subcontractors, are required to make a good faith effort to achieve a combined minimum goal of 15% participation for MBE/WBE utilization in accordance with s.NR 162.09(3), s.NR 166.12(4), and s.NR 167.18(4) Wis. Admin. Code. If a subcontractor awards subcontracts, these requirements shall apply to the subcontractor. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
