Construction costs for this project shall not exceed $2,054,245. Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) process for the seismic retrofit of the existing Monument High School Monument High School Seismic Rehabilitation: The seismic retrofit ofMonument High School Building includes the rehabilitation to the existing lateral system components in order to meet the requirements for "Immediate Occupancy" as outlined in ASCE 41-17. This will be accomplished by adding to or altering the existing structure and lateral load path to the building foundation. The Monument School District is proposing to remodel the existing Monument High School Seismic Rehabilitation located at 127 North Street, Monument, OR 97864. The seismic retrofit of 127 North Street, Monument, OR 97864 includes the rehabilitation to the existing lateral system components in order to meet the requirements for "Immediate Occupancy" as outlined in ASCE 41-17. This will be accomplished by adding to or altering the existing structure and lateral load path to the building foundation. In general, the Monument High School Seismic Rehabilitation project may include the following components: proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, and for good cause, rejection of all proposals upon a finding that it is in public interest to do so. Ifthe Owner chooses to reject the proposal in part, it may in certain instances provide notice of any correction or modifications to prospective CM/GC firms who originally submitted proposals, solicit supplemental information from them, and set an expedited deadline for their supplemental submissions. Providing new vertical lateral resisting elements. Installing new out-of-plane anchorage. Installing new hardware for transfer ofseismic forces from diaphragm to shear walls. Installing a new positive connection using plates, connection hardware, or straps between the girder and the column support. Installing new steel strongback columns to resist out-of-plane forces. Providing new drag elements. Providing new continuous cross ties between diaphragm chords. Installing new plywood diaphragm sheathing. Installing new secondary support for vertical load carrying framing elements.
