Cypress Hills Provincial Park Trail Summer Maintenance Location: Cypress Hills Provincial Park 8304 HWY 41, Cypress County T0J 1C0 The objective of this project is to provide maintenance on the identified trails, so as to: o Provide for recreational user safety - unsafe conditions such as debris, fallen trees, damaged dirt features such as pumps, jumps and berms etc. must be corrected; o Protect the environment - reduce erosion - water must flow off the trails to avoid creeping; o Provide cyclists, hikers, and equestrian users with a positive experience - a good trail can be exciting, attracting more recreational users to the Park; and to o Protect investments - it is less expensive to maintain the trails than to rebuild new ones. Multi-use mountain biking, hiking and equestrian trails offers amazing opportunities to experience the great outdoors, explore new terrain, and connect with the land and with friends. The Province offers exciting trails for beginners and seasoned pros. Traffic in this park has grown substantially in the past few years, directly affecting the integrity of the trails and the surrounding land.
