Site work for a civil project in Elkwater, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work involves the installation of a new bridge culvert to replace Bridge File #74284 located 10 km northwest of Elkwater, Alberta (SW22-9-3-W4), with a new 2.25m dia. Poly Coated Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) culvert by 41.5 m invert length at 1.6-degree LHF skew. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation and care of water (if required), including Fish Capture and TSS testing. Removal and disposal of the existing bridge file culvert Excavation Supply and Assembly of the new bridge file culvert Backfill including common (and potentially borrow) and granular backfill material. Heavy rock riprap erosion protection including type B geotextile filter fabric.
