Fire Station No 2 Procure and Install Eight Bay Doors Questions regarding the ITB requirements or process can be directed in writing to Wanda Weaks, Purchasing Agent at wweaks@fbfl.org. SCOPE OF WORK The City of Fernandina Beach is accepting competitive sealed bids for the procurement, delivery, and installation of eight new 14'-0" wide by 16'-0" high Aluminum and Glass Sectional doors for the recently constructed Fire Station No. 2 at 600 Airport Road, Fernanda Beach, Florida as shown on the attached document. The work will involve the fabrication, assembly, delivery, and installation of the eight new doors at the site based on the following criteria: o Wind Load Rating of +/- 32 psf o 1/8" tempered glass o 20 -year finish warranty o 20-year commercial warranty welded frame warranty o Accessories include motors, 3 button station (open, close, stop) and set of standard photo eyes. Electrical wiring and mounting of controls necessary for the operation of the doors is to be included. Primary electrical work installed in the building construction is by others. o Shop drawings are to be submitted to City prior to final fabrication o Door frames to be custom painted, Carnival Red or approved equivalent with approved clear coat for fade prevention. o Door manufacturer shall provide deliver and completion schedule with bid submittal
